The Center for Connection, a non-profit organization based in North County, San Diego, more specifically near the beach communities of Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Oceanside, and to the east of Escondido, having originated in the beach community of Pacific beach between the beach communities of Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, and La Jolla, began as a Holistic Community Center. In defining itself as a Holistic Community Center, the Center for Connection aims to bring about a Spiritual and Holistic Community by holding space for yoga, meditation, massage therapy, energy work, movie nights, dancing, magic, performances, and other community events and activities. Within a year of opening, the Center has become a hub for spiritual and holistic gatherings. Founded and lead by Darshana Atman, the Center has drawn community leaders, spiritual teachers, healers, and wisdom keepers from around the world through its doors to share insights on the basic energetic needs of the body, spirit, and mind. Darshana Atman has traveled the world, learning about the spiritual practices and excercises used in other cultures. Darshana now teaches these practices through his Spiritual Philosophy, massage classes and courses, retreats, lectures, bodywork sessions, free healings, energy work, and committment to building community through the values of trust, presence, and altruism. The Center for Connection is dedicated to supporting the holistic vision of others and connecting those visions between other holistic organizations to create a powerful force of spiritual revolution. Using the tools of movement expression, meditation, massage, yoga, and other holistic practices and gatherings, celebrations, and community, the Center is creating amazing changes in the consciousness of this planet and world. San Diego, North County, the Vista area and other California Beach communities are find themselves at the Center of this spiritual wave of transcendance.
